KiboRise is an independent Nigerian financial education publication. We explain how investments work, what they cost and what can go wrong, so you can understand an asset before you put money into it.
Our Mission
Most money content in Nigeria is either too technical to use or built to sell you something. KiboRise takes a different approach. We publish clear, sourced, dated guides that teach the mechanics of Nigerian investing, so readers can reason for themselves and judge professional advice with confidence.
We are a publication that teaches. We do not tell you what to buy.
Our Story
KiboRise began with a costly lesson. Its founder lost a significant amount of money to a get-rich-quick scheme, then set out to understand how legitimate financial markets work, how risk is managed and how lasting wealth is built. He began investing directly in Nigerian equities in 2020, and the research that followed became the foundation for KiboRise.
The rule that came out of it shapes everything we publish: understand an asset before you commit your money.

Who Is Behind KiboRise?
How We Research and Fact-Check
- We draw on primary sources: the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC Nigeria), the Debt Management Office (DMO) and company filings.
- Rates, prices and figures are date-stamped, because they change.
- Articles are reviewed when data or rules change, and update dates reflect real changes only.
- Regulatory facts are kept separate from opinion, hypothetical examples and strategy models.
